Back a ways I mentioned that Acadians were shipped off to Louisiana and evolved into Creoles. That's not quite right. The more proper term is Cajun.

ReplyDeleteDid you ever see the movie about the Cajun culture with Armand Assante in the lead? I can't remember the name but it was in the 1980's, I think. Colorful and interesting as I recall. No memory of the plot; just the cajun-ness of it.
