Day 80 . Carnation, WA

These pix are of the park where we're camped, Snoqualmie River and suspension bridge built in 1976 by boy scouts and a company of national guard engineers.

  2. Beautiful Pictures. The campground sounded nice in your written description, but I gather it is a day use facility as well as overnight?

I sure am glad we have reservations for the Oregon Coast. North of Tillamook it has been record breaking temps (yesterday it was 90 in Astoria); south of Tillamook it was 53. Today it's so hot that being stuck in a fog bank doesn't sound too bad, but I hope it's nice at Sunset Bay. If it's pouring, we'll join you in the Edge.

    See you soon.
