Boardman Marina Park

This is where it started.  11 years ago, Tom, and old friend of mine, and I, spent 2 nights here.   It was the maiden voyage of the Chalet and I invited Tom along to commiserate: his wife had just passed away and my main squeeze of 16 years had just bailed.

This Boardman City park is on the Columbia River, and is one of our favorite OR campgrounds. Trish and I have stayed here before, too, a great place to stop if you're traveling I-84.  We're in transit to Idaho so only stayed one night this time.

Artie and Ranger relax after a fine breakfast, a leisurely business-trip walk and a thorough check of the pee-mail that came in over night.  Pretty cute, huh?
